HAUS of Dreamers: the creative hub of Golden Goose in Marghera, Italy
After a year-long global itinerant project, HAUS of Dreamers by Golden Goose finally takes shape, putting down roots in Marghera, the industrial port of Venice and birthplace of the brand
Inaugurated on April 20th and 21st, coinciding with the opening of the Venice Biennale, HAUS of Dreamers is a monumental space of 22.000 square meters. During the two-day HAUS Week, in which TOPTAGLIO participated, visitors had the opportunity to take part in live performances, immersive experiences, interactive sessions, workshops, and talks on art, culture, and sneakers. International artists celebrated the opening of the creative hub, offering a new interpretation of Marghera’s urban and industrial space: from the Argentine visual artist Andrés Reisinger to the Franco-Italian painter Maïa Régis, from the Puerto Rican singer Mia Lailani to the Italian sculptor Fabio Viale.
HAUS of Dreamers is not just a physical space, but also the realization of one of Golden Goose’s great dreams: a cultural platform where education, study, artistic contamination, dialogue, and creative exchange enable every individual to experiment and freely express their artistic expression. There are no boundaries for imagination in this place, conceived to celebrate the brand’s heritage and become a meeting point for culture, craftsmanship, and art.
HAUS Week was a special opportunity not only to delve into the universe of Golden Goose and explore one’s creativity, but also to promote an intercultural dialogue with the territory.

HAUS of Dreamers is a unique place that is easy to fall in love with as you discover its spaces, starting from the Manovia, an innovative laboratory for the production, repair, and customization of the Golden Goose sneakers, where sustainability is promoted through upcycling and innovation, and reaching the Academy, a space where expert artisans, the ‘dream makers,’ transmit their know-how to new generations, the future ‘dream makers’ artisans. You can continue with the Playground-Auditorium, an area designed to offer insights into the brand culture and intended for meetings and talks, and then move to the Hangar, a space that offers an exhibition area and includes the historic Golden Goose house, which is the original structure of the brand’s first headquarters. Inside, there are rooms furnished and customized by founders Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo, their respective offices, vinyl collections, a kitchen and a meeting room.

And it is here that the Archive and the Library are located, the areas of the creative hub from where you can get the most inspiration: in the Archive you can trace the entire history of the brand and admire the early creations, which include not only hundreds of sneakers but also a vast array of garments and accessories, while in the Library, you can get lost in the wide catalog of books and memorabilia that tell the culture of streetwear, skateboarding, and hip-hop.
TOPTAGLIO is proud to have been the General Contractor of Golden Goose’s HAUS of Dreamers.
